      Here comes the premium cosmetic line from Lakme. It is everything that we bloggers were cribbing for Lakme to achieve. Long lasting products, Innovative packaging ( who wants to see the lip colors and foundation in that same old boring maroon packaging ? )

      When I first saw this range, the only thing that captivated my imagination was this foundation. Shiny color and innovative ball type packaging with 16 hours of wear. What was not to like ? I finally got my hands on it and Got the shade Golden medium which is light for my NC 42 skin tone.

The consistency is air whipped. It blends with a bit difficulty , By that I mean thorough blending is required. It gives a beautiful matt finish but starts looking powdery if applied too much. I didn't find the coverage build able. If you try to build it, it starts looking cakey. It is a great daily wear foundation  since it even outs the skin , covers pore a bit and control oil for few hours. I think it will suit oily and combination skin more


Drawbacks - It makes skin look flakey if not applied after properly prepping skin. Moisturizer is must if you want the optimal finish from the foundation.
It doesn't last long. I see the effect till 4 hours before it starts fading :|

Will I buy again ? No, I will use it till it lasts but it aint anything exceptional if you ignore the fancy packaging.

Enriched with sunscreens and cucumber extracts. 100% water based formula is lightweight so skin does not feel weighed down by extra layers Souffle form allows for easy application to give skin a natural, flawless look It comes in 4 shades Pearl - very fair skin Marble- fair to wheatish Shell-wheatish to dusky Coral-dusky I have this in Shell . SA recommended marble but I think it's of no use . The coverage is sheer with just a hint of color 1. Packaging: - Very ordinary packaging .. a small jar with a lid. Not very hygienic, if you wish you may use a spatula instead 2. Texture :- Texture is very smooth but not consistent .You will find strange goops in between and the product looks strangely orange in the jar. 3. Coverage :- Don’t expect even medium coverage ..this will only dew up your look . It is so sheer that it is comparable to tinted moisturizer .. it will just even out your complexion and is great for dry - normal skin. 4. Extent of wear ability :- Very short ! I was just going on for a stroll and I applied this on my face .. and after half an hour .. I patted my face with a tissue and to my horror .. there was scary orange stuff on it !! 5. Price ;- Extremely affordable at 100 bucks !!

OVERALL

I think I had rather huge expectations . It does what exactly it says . lightweight in texture and enough to cover minor flaws . I think its good for people in hurry , just remember to set with a powder (eg Maybelline whitestay UV) I dont blame the product . Its quite decent product ! Its good for people who are just starting to build thier collection.
